Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial statement workpapers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather necessary information for disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) for financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) using Workiva.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures per SEC requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of SEC filings and related communications.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards and their impact on financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly internal management reports and quarterly fluctuation analysis.
  • Improve processes and ensure proper internal controls.
  • Collaborate with business leaders for various financial reviews and strategic planning.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors during audits and quarterly reviews.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements for financial reporting.
  • Assist team members as needed and perform other tasks to add value to the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in accounting or finance (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 3-4 years in accounting and financial reporting, with experience in Big 4 or publicly traded firms preferred.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, US GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
